Jessica is a 10+ year veteran of the music industry and advocate for gender equality that currently serves as CEO of Cosynd, a simple, affordable, and legal way for creators to protect their creations by allowing them to collaboratively generate copyright ownership agreements and to register their content with the U.S. Copyright Office. Jessica also serves as Chair of Women in Music, the longest running (30+years) and largest non-profit for women in the music industry that is supported by a nearly 200 volunteers working daily to provide resources to thousands of professionals. Previously, Jessica led strategic traditional licensing opportunities for music micro-licensing pioneers Rumblefish, which conducted 50,000+ licenses daily. At Rumblefish, Jessica structured distribution networks in Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. Jessica also served as the Manager of Digital Content Licensing for the performing rights organization SESAC where she provided due diligence on the acquisition of Rumblefish. Prior to Rumblefish, she served as Chief Content Officer for Sir Groovy, an online B2B music curation and licensing company honored by Billboard, Fast Company, and more, where she established a network of content creators that spanned 90+ countries.
