Gillespie is a 30 plus year record company executive, having spent time in management, marketing, promotion and A&R as an executive at Virgin Records, SONY Music and the Walt Disney Company. The range of artists he has worked with include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Amy Winehouse, Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Fiona Apple, Gallant, Dana Fuchs, Dar Williams and others. He is also a founding member of the 80’s NYC dance punk band KONK.
