Linda Lorence Critelli is an accomplished music executive with expertise in performing rights, publishing and songwriter/artist development.
She is former VP of writer/publisher relations at SESAC, where she worked with a diverse roster of songwriting and publishing talent. Through the years she formed a large loyal clientele which contributed to the success of the multi-million dollar organization it is today. She was recognized by Billboard magazine as one of the leading women in performing rights.
Linda currently holds the honor to serve as president of the NY Chapter of the The Recording Academy, a long time member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame board and is a former president of Women in Music where she continues to serve on their Advisory Board. She co-founded NYC3 “New York City Creative Community,” an organization of publishing professionals who work to network and create opportunities for NY based music creators which recently formed a partnership with the AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) in an effort to broaden its reach.
Linda is a music industry consultant and also enjoys teaching Music Business courses at both Rider University in NJ and at NYU, Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music/Tisch School of the Arts in NYC. She will join Rider’s Faculty this fall to teach in their new Arts & Entertainment Industries program. Prior to her career in the business, Linda was a professional singer. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music where she was honored with their “Distinguished Alumni” Award.
